I was reading a lift post and Fman got me thinking. I am building a second garage and was wondering what type of wall art you use and recommend. Thanks in advance!

Art; What's That?
I'm Not Cultured Enough To Have Art!
All kidding aside, you need to check out Gumball's Garage.
He mixes a phenomenal collection of toys & projects with various goodies.

Do a Google search for "Tin Signs" and you will find a bunch from old automotive stuff to beer signs and other goodies. I've put several various ones in my garage and car hauler.

One of these vinyl wall stickers may help you take up some of that MASSIVE wall space you have.

Might as well get a Cobra illuminated clock too.

This, along with "Dust" were my favorite comments on this thread! ;)

I've got a few photos/tin signs/posters hanging between the ladders, shovels and fertilizer spreaders, but nothing worth showing off...

I have a ton of wall space I am looking to do something with. Since I will have another garage for my standard lawn equipment and I live on a farm so a lot of my lawn equipment is down by the barn. I am planning on trying to keep the walls more for " show" rather than "go" LOL!

I don't plan much ahead as far as decor. I pick things up that have some meaning to me as I see them. I have framed pics of cars I have owned in the past. I have some Ford parts signs etc. I have a 'Mustang Parking' sign in front of the bay where my wife parks her 2015 MustangGT. I have a sign for 'Rte66' because even though it starred a Vette, I am old enough that I watched the show when it originally aired.

Garage? You mean "Man Cave" don't you? Your "garage" has more space than my house!

I agree with you. The most important thing is functionality. I try to use my garage as efficiently as possible. During its construction, I specially planned an additional area for shelving, a working area. Our house is not very large, we cannot allocate a separate room for a workshop. And dirt, oil, smells of paints and varnishes - why is this necessary in the house?

Thank you for the ideas and pictures guys! Yes I plan on using epoxy on the floors The upstairs overlooking the engine bay will have a railing and has been dubbed the mezzanine by my wife. One of my buddies keeps poking at me that he can't wait to sip bourbon in the mezzanine while i am working on my car LOL!

Speaking about working on the car.
I will set up air and vacuum outlets throughout the garage to work and clean afterwards
For the art part of the project just make sure the car is perfectly center within the walls...;-)

I don't have near as much space as you do (jealous) but I find automobilia (tins, signs, and the like) and flags are always a good add. Flags in particular. Some cool designs out there for damn near every automobile/sports/booze related topic there is.

Thanks! Dad and I do a bit of tinkering on it and try to take it to track days during the summer. Certainly can't replicate that tank-like sound when you close the door. Fun car!
