Wiper Install Question

All,

Doing the initial wiper install as part on my initial body fitment.

I notes that these is about 16 in of additional wiper cable/coil on the far end beyond the DS wheelbox.

Seems excessive. Is it OK to cut the cable short (my 4 to 6" beyond) and if so any tricks to cut it as not to effect the fit of the coil over the cable.

You want a piece of tube about 6in long out of the second transmission and cut the cable off flush with the end of the tube. Die grinder with a cutoff wheel works well. The cable only travels a couple of inches.
