PPF Question

I'm about to get my MK4 get painted.
After everything is done, I am thinking about getting PPF applied to the entire vehicle.
Has anyone have any experience with this?

I'm particularly concerned about the area near exhaust. With pretty high temperature pretty close to the film, I'm wondering how they hold up.

Good question about the heat. You could call Xpel. They should be able to answer your question. I had Xpel PPF installed on the frontal area up to the hood opening, door sills, front and back of rear fenders.

Mine is entirely wrapped. No issues around exhaust. I'll look more closely tomorrow at the fender opening to see how close the PPF comes to the pipes, but no issues street a year of use
