Hello,

I am planning to build a MK4 roadster in the coming months and I have a question I am hoping somebody can help me with. I have bougt a 1997 Mustang GT 4.6 SOHC car for my donor. I chose this for numerous reasons, but mainly because I am orignally from Ireland and hope to bring the cobra back there eventually, and this engine should help me pass emission standards in europe, and also it was pretty cheap. I would ideally like to also have a 5.0 litre engine, as it sounds and looks better. Is it possible to have the kit set up to accept both engines and transmissions? how difficult is it to swap the engines out once the car is complete?

this is my first post so any help would be hugely appreciated. I'm sure I'll have many many more in the coming months!

4.6L and 5.0L are totally different engines. Different headers, fuel injection, computer, wiring, bell housing, accessories, and engine mounts. It would be really difficult.

Pete...unless yer talking about the new 5.0 Coyote engine. Then I think they're fairly similar to the 4.6 block.
But why would you want 2 motors for 1 car?
