I've used the same similar process on the GTM windsheild and both the GTM and Coupe headlight covers. I presume the windshield fits much better than the early coupe that I built. First 2 glass shops wouldn't touch the install because the glass was so far out of fitting they thought they would break it. Third shop installed the glass in my garage and when I returned there were 3, 2x4's jammed between the glass and the garage ceiling. Told me to leave them in place for at least 3 days. Never leaked and never broke!
