Purchased my Roadster complete kit today!! Coyote/TKX, IRS, and Wilwood Brakes... Delivery for mid-August this year. Still debating the motor choice... Aluminator or 427... but ordered with Coyote set up.

Thanks to the Grand Rapids Michigan folks; Jason, Lynn, Jim, and Doug for offering advise, and in Jason, Lynn, and Jim letting me look at there cars. Really helped me figure out what I wanted to order and feel good about the ability to get local support and advise.

Also thanks to all the forum folks that chipped in answering my forum questions.

Plan on having a build thread when the time comes.

Congrats!!!! I know how excited I was once I committed. Like they told me when I was accepted into medical school " The best part of medical school is the time between being accepted and the first day of class"...... So far I can say that building my roadster has been the complete opposite. It has been therapeutic and something I can't wait to get back to. You will have a ton of fun! I spent my gap between ordering and delivery getting my garage , tools, dolly and body buck in order. I originally planned on doing a build thread but decided against it. For me it was " comparison is the thief of joy " concept. A lot of folks on this site build cars that could stand alone at the World of Wheels and I can quickly search or ask a question with great responses. I look forward to following your build :)

"The best part of medical school is the time between being accepted and the first day of class." That made me laugh because it is so true (except for the calls asking me for medical advice before I even started medical school).

John P., welcome to the forum and it is so exciting to place that order. Interestingly, I always have buyer's remorse when I make a big purchase. The ONLY big purchase that I didn't have it was when I ordered my kit in October. The wait is the worst part. I waiting about 3 1/2 months before it was delivered and I think it was the longest 3 months in my life. I have enjoyed the build so far and have put about 70 hours into it and can't wait to do more.

I will follow along on your build thread because I enjoy seeing how other people build theirs.

Welcome to the club and enjoy the experience!

Congratulations! It will seem like forever until delivery/pick up day, but trust me it's worth it. I ordered mine in the fall of 2020 and picked it up at FFR this past Friday, 3/5/21. Enjoy every step of the process!

Congratulations! Crazy feeling to hang up the phone and think.......holy crap, I just ordered a car that I have to build! I really enjoyed building my roadster. If it becomes a chore, just walk away for a few days. Keep it fun.
