Have had the car up on stands for the past year. Today I wanted to put the wheels and tires on to check for any potential areas that rub or interfere in normal driving conditions, so i took the car off the stands.

The car seems REALLY low to the ground. Is there any specification for chassie height? Is there a standard position setting for the shocks?

There are quite a few threads on ride height:

Mine is set at ~4.5".

Even with the ride height set at 4 to 4.5 inches, yes the car seems really low when you've been looking at it 14 inches in the air for the last 12 months. I had mine up for 2 weeks pulling the oil pan and fixing a rear seal leak and when I put it back on the tires I walked out into the garage the next day and thought" wow that's low!! I pulled out my blocks and rechecked the ride height....all was good at 4" front and 4.5" back. They do look low!

Appreciate the input. Tomorrow i'll measure it to confirm clearance.

Just for my info, how do you change the height if you wanted to?

Screw the spring adjusting collar so it would be compressing the spring will raise the height. I also count how many coils are visible above the adjusting collar. You want the left to equal the right although the rear is usually different than the front. The standard measuring spot is the 4 inch main frame tubes just in from the ends at front and rear. Around 4 front and 4-4.5 rear is common.

Just got to measure my clearance. With no one in the car, the clearance was 5 " in the front 6" in the rear. Is there any downside to these numbers?
