Need Link to Recent Thread on Tires

I'm getting ready to order new tires - probably Nitto 555 G2. 255/40R17 on the front and 315/35R17 on the back. My Kumho Ecsta tires are getting down there after 13,500 miles. I'm looking for a recent (3-6 months ago) tire thread that mentioned tire expiration dates, etc. I think one of the posters mentioned that he ordered tires from Discount Tire and that he specified no tires older than 6 months - or something like that. I've searched both forums for a couple of hours on tire threads with no luck. Anyone have a link to the thread?

That was my post. Must’ve been fall or late summer. Discount Tire Direct, in those sizes and the NT05 & NT01 tires, all their tires were 2017 dates. I did not inquire on the 555’s.
I purchased my tires long enough ago now that I don’t think I would automatically assume the same scenario exists with these tires at Discount. Call and ask is my advice.
I ended up paying about $100 per tire, out the door. Figured if they lasted me a couple years, I got my money worth.
