Looking for the forum's opinion on the 340LPH Quantum intank fuel pump that Blue Print recommended in their FAQ document. I ordered the 347 EFI system and have the external pump they provided.

Except for two reasons, I dont have a large concern about using the external mounted fuel pump. Those reasons are 1) two additional sources of leaks (pump input and output) and 2) visually "cleans" up the appearance of the rear by not have the mechanical pump seen.

I've got that intank pump you linked to. Mine failed, several years after buying it, at my first start. I called and they sent me a new one for shipping costs. They never asked for the old one back.

Great customer service.

NO way do you need a 340 lph pump, that will fuel a 1000hp engine. A 190 will do but most use a 240.

Rich is right about not needing that much of a pump. I bought it, at Quantums recommendation, for the -6AN fittings and the use of 3/8" tubing for both the supply and return lines. At the time, about 5 years ago, I couldn't find any other pump with the 3/8" tubing for both supply and return.
