Placed my order for my Roadster on Friday. They told me that my production date will be in early July, good news I guess that the community is growing like that.
I look forward to my build and the challenges that come with it. This is the third vehicle that I have built from scratch. First was a 68 Cooper S that was completely disassembled and I put it together using the service manual and a plastic model. Second was a SCCA GT3 Mazda RX7 that I campaigned in the SW division. So I am not going into this with any delusions of what to expect. There is a lot of hard work to come.

What options did you get? Which engine are you going with?

Welcome aboard, the lead times on kits has certainly grown. When I first started looking into getting one it was 10 weeks, sounds like it ballooned to 5 months.

I ordered pretty much every option I could with the exception of power steering. Went with the 17 inch wheels, biggest brakes I cold fit in there. I am a big guy so I had to go with the low back aluminum seats for more room and so my head isn't over the windshield.
I am going with the Blueprint Engines 427 and the 5 speed.

No, unfortunately I am going with the older 5 speed model.
congrats! I'll be about a month ahead of you (mine arrives in June) but I anticipate you'll blow past me. Look forward to seeing a build thread!

Congrats Hurman! The wait for my Roadster was SOOOOO long!!!! LOL! Definitely leverage the brain trust here. These guys will help you out more than you can realize.

CONGRATS!! when did you order? any incoming orders now should be getting the TKX. unless you ordered a while back and got one of the last TKO shipments.

I ordered it last Monday from Josh. Will I be getting the close ratio or standard ratio transmission with that order?

the standard is the .81 TKX. please reach out to josh and clarify. I'm pretty confident with your timeline, you'll be getting the TKX.
