The front legs on my passenger side rollbar need to squeeze together about 3/8" to fit on the mounts in the trunk. Is it OK to just wrap a ratchet strap around them and pull them together to make them work? Or is that going to cause a problem when they have to be put through the body for final assembly?

You will not want to fight with the ratchet strap with the body on. One of mine was like this too. Use the ratchet strap to pull it in a bit more than you want as when released it will pull back out. Keep doing this until you can slip it on by itself. Also make sure there is no coatings on the inside of the pipe that might be causing this issue as well.

Yes, yes, yes.....solve this problem before it's painted. Use some white Lith grease on the bungs and inside the tubes...da Bat
