Hi there all. I am just checking this because it appears part numbers have changed a bit since FF put out their gen 2 coyote instruction manual and I am just paranoid and want to get the right thing.

In the manual they say to buy M-6017-A504v control pack to match the Ford new crate engine gen 2. This assumes a person is using a new crate motor for the coupe. I am not.

I am using a gen 2 motor from a mustang. It originally was an auto ,but I am buying new pilot bearing and flywheel to make it a 6 speed manual. This is the control pack I am thinking I need. It is not the same number suggested in the manual but I am thinking they revised things since the manual came out.

Is this a correct control pack?
As always your feedback and help is appreciated.

Checked on the Ford Performance website. For the 2015-17 engine with manual transmission, controls pack PN is M-6017-504V just like what you identified from the FF manual. Note since you have a donor engine from a GT with an automatic, the engine harness is different for the automatic. Not sure if you need to buy a new engine harness to switch to a manual. Hopefully if the controls pack is a manual, the engine harness connections for the automatic are just ignored.

A recommendation, I bought my controls pack for the 2nd Gen Coyote with automatic from Levittown Ford Parts. Great price in 2018 and good service. It took a while to get the AT version, kept me in the loop throughout the backorder.

Thanks much for the input. I will have to check out that Ford dealer for an engine cover and the control pack. It is amazing the variety of prices out there for some of the same merchandise.

When I was looking to buy my controls pack, Levittown Ford Parts was the cheapist source I could find, may be different now as that was almost 3 years ago.

I bought my engine cover on Ebay, virtually new for half the cost. My donor engine came with the valve cover covers, but the intake cover was missing.
