Hi all,

My Daytona is at the Body Shop!
Yes!
That’s another big step for me so I, again, want to thanks all of you who write on this forum and answer all my dumb questions.
Funny, I almost got the « empty nest » syndrom yesterday afternoon...Lol!
So it’s out of the garage for at least a couple of months.
When it comes back there will still be minor stuff like carpets to take care of but nothing big anymore...I think.
Any comments, suggestions or recommandations at this point is more than welcome.

Congrats that a big one!! I assume your painting body on?
If not you could work on your carpet in the mean time. That’s what I did. Much easier without the body on.
Other then that get everything ready and plan for the tasks at hand when she returns.
It is a weird feeling though not to have the car home for sure.

Big relief here!
I don’t know how to write this but…body shop just started to work on my Daytona this week.
Very long story that made me witness the owner of a small company struggle through COVID-19.
Anyway now we are back on tracks…6 to 8 weeks left…

Well…Things are moving again after many many hurdles that I am not really interested in talking about…
So for the records here’s a picture.
Thanks all.

Shakey,
Thanks!
Depends on what side of the Atlantic you are.
On this side it’s Viking blue.
On the other side it’s Princess blue.
And for PPG it’s 12494.
I would say Powder blue with satin.

Love your garage/shop. I am envious of the space.

Skuzzy,
Thanks but it’s the paint shop show room where they are putting back in place all the parts they had to take off to paint the car.

Still a nice shop. Wish I had that kind of room to work.

Very nice! I really like the coupe in that colour! Hope the snow is on the way out up that way (former but always will be a Montrealer). I know Burlington and other areas of VT got hit with that late snow storm.

Looks great. Love the color choice. similar to mine. Also got my coupe back from the paint and body shop a few weeks ago.

Finish line is one step closer for both of us

Good luck the car looks great, you’ve gotta be pumped!!
Is it the angle or does it need to be dropped an 1” or so?
