I have an APE hardtop that I never really finished installing. I now have a Premium Softtop so will be using it.
I have the top, rear window, side windows, that were never cut into the hardtop and installed. I also have the molding and hardware for all the windows and the flip up side windows. I have the original shipping frame so it is possible to wrap it and ship it.

In the pic it is just sitting on my car to check the fit.
I will get more pics IF there is any interest in it.
$650 and we can work out the shipping or pickup of it... or give me an offer.

I am not sure. Only way to find out - as least this is what I would want to do - set it on the car to see how well it fits.
Otherwise I'd have to defer to others, that may have had some experience with the top.
I did some searching on the other forums and it seems that in the back you will have more of a gap between the top and the body. The comment I found was they used some weather-stripping window foam tape on the bottom of the top to seal up the gap.

Hi,
I would like more pictures to figure out if I have the tools and skills to finish the remainder of window work to be done. Also, if I am capable of final mounting to my car. I’m not sure which Factory Five Roadster I own. I purchased it already built and it was registered as a 2000, so It’s either a Mark I or a Mark II I guess. How do I find out if if the roof will fit my car?
Thanks

Sorry been away for a bit...
I have a Mark 1 and the top was designed to fit the Mark 1 & 2 as the bodies were not changed that much.
The Mark 3 bodies are - I'm told are just like the Mark 1 & 2 bodies.
I have purchased a Mark 3 body from FFR to replace my deer hit Mark 1 body.
The body right now is at the painters and should be back by the end of next week.
I was told my FFR that the Mark 3 body will fit the mark 1 chassis.
So to the best of my understanding the top will fit the Mark 1- Mark 3. The Mark 4's there is more of a gap between the top and the body.
That is the best information I have on the APE tops.
I will take the top down off the frame it was shipped in and get some pictures taken of what I have.
Will post emails shortly with more pictures.

I did a forum search as I am not even close to any kind of knowledgeable understanding of the differences in the Mark 1,2,3 & 4 so here are some comments from the forum;

The APE top I have is the MK3 style. I modified it to fit my MK4. I cut the rear from pillar to pillar below the rear window to drop the rear to make it fit. The drop at the center of the cut was about 16mm. I fiberglassed the seam and am happy with the results. The second thing needed was to cut the removable windows to fit the new angles of the top. 144013
