Hello everyone I am new to the site. Have been building cars for quite a while but never really considered a replica car before. I was recently at my brothers house and we watched a couple documentaries about Carrol Shelby and when I saw the Daytona Coupe again it struck me that I could build one. So here I am with a car up for sale to find the project. As soon as I have the funding I plan on ordering the base kit. The driveline will be a 351Windsor motor with SC1 heads which will feed power through a Richmond 4+1 transmission. I do have a couple of concerns with this set up but that is probably for a post on the 65 site. Anyway you will hear from me there if I figure out how to post more as I am much more adept at turning wrenches than technology.
