Good afternoon all,
Does anyone know a shop that does custom valve covers or air cleaner for a 347 or 427? I had been doing more research on the different suppliers for a power plant to install in a Daytona. I phoned Blueprint to inquire and they don't seem to do much custom work at all straight from what they offer on their site. I like their full package solutions with Engine and Trans all rolled into one. I like their 427 option but don't like the supplied valve covers and large COBRA labeled oval air cleaner. It would be nice if they offered one to say Daytona Coupe or Cobra Coupe other than Cobra. I am not as intent on the air cleaner cover as I am more the valve covers as well. I am leaving that option open. I still may decide to run with the Borla 8 stack injection system. I have read in the past that the air cleaner fitment can be an issue at times with the coupe hoods. Appreciate any advice or information on shops that do some of that cutting or CNC sort of work. Thanks in advance all.

Have a great afternoon.

On a car I built years ago I purchased a set of valve covers that just had a smooth top and my father used a ball mill tool to write in the logo I wanted. I would guess that today with all the cad/cam machine shops they could easily whip some up for you.

I just got some custom covers for my coyote from Ansen coil covers. They will do pretty much anything is my understanding.

Love the airbrushed air cleaner! if I did that my wife would have me living in the garage full time. Maybe that's not such a bad idea .......

The guy I used is in Roselle Illinois his name is Rich Keylard his company name is airephix Not cheap But you get what you pay for pin up girls are 7-800 bucks. He did a rattlesnake on my steering colum and a pin stripe tramp stamp on my tailgate. Rich does a lot of corvette and Camaro valve covers that look really cool. He can do anything he always has something to bring to world of wheels here in Chicago if you google him you can see his work. Rob

Good afternoon all,
Thanks for the responses. I am still calling around for shops that do this work.

Nuhale that is a good find thank you. I plan on calling them this week to ask about pricing and turn around time for custom logos or CNC work.

Robodent great air cleaner air brushing. I need to reach out to that gentleman and have a new motorcycle helmet done for me. At one point in the past there was a company named Akuma that made a great US Marines helmet they named devildog. By the time I was looking for one they halted production on them. I liked how they combined both the old school woodland camo and a Red US Marines flag underneath. It had some tears in the fabric to revel the flag underneath. I thought about having a helmet painted for me someday like that. I just never pursued it. Below is a picture of what I was talking about.

I had them put a "FORD" logo in the center of their coyote cammer style covers. Bit a a SNAFU as I thought I could do this on my laser engraver at work but the platen wasn't big enough and couldn't get the safety housing to disengage. Cost me more as I had to ship back to them in California but should have been just $30
