I’ve had braided fuel hose all the way from tank to injection for about 6 years now. No issues so far, but I’ve been wondering how long this stuff lasts, and if I should start thinking about replacing it with hard line. Anybody have any experience or knowledge on how long braided hose typically lasts?

I have replaced my normal (un-braided) fuel pipe this year on my car because it was cracking at the ends under the bonnet and one small length under the car was beginning to show signs that it wasn't happy.
It's the correct spec pipe and had been on my car for around 5-6 years, if it was braided I wouldn't have spotted it.
Shame as I prefer the braided type, but fitted normal pipe again so I can monitor it. Maybe the braided stuff is better, no idea.

Upgrade to braided PTFE lines and you won't need to worry about the rubber cracking

I got 20 years out of the braided stainless and had to replace them last year when they started leaking.
No matter what you decide to go with they will still have a life cycle. Do something you like.
