There is far more builders here installing the Coyote than on the Vintage Mustang Forum. A guy on VMF is having issues with the KRC PS pump with integral tank. Anyone here have any issues and, if so, what was the resolution?

I understand that many Roadster / Coupe and "all" Hot Rod builders with a Coyote have used electric power steering. There's no room for a PS pump and reservoir in the Hot Rod. Hopefully, any Coyote user who went a different way will respond to your post.

What kind of issues? I have the KRC PS pump with integral tank setup on the Gen 3 Coyote in my Coupe. Works fine.

Paul good to hear your setup is working fine. My restomod is not running yet, part of the reason my question was a bit vague. A guy on VMF is having "heat" issues with bubbling and steam after a short drive and I am trying to determine if others have had the same here. Are you running a PS cooler in the loop with your KRC setup? The C&R radiator I am using in my Mustang build has a integral PS cooler I will be using, should prevent heat issues.

Thanks

Yes, I have a Derale 13310 Compact Fluid Cooler in the low pressure return line. I'm also running KRC's branded fluid which they strongly recommend. It's mineral based. They don’t recommend synthetic. Not sure if it matters, but I'm also running the smallest flow valve. I had the exact setup in my Roadster as well except with Honda PS fluid. Also without any issues.
