Looking at the hardware that attached the scoop to the hood to me the rivets look a little cheap.I was wondering for the builders the bolted the scoop down what hardware did you end up using ? And did you end up painting the hardware ? Thanks

I used 10-32 SS button head hardware on mine, although 8-32 like from Breeze is fine too. I prefer the acorn nuts. Also used nylon washers instead of the SS ones. Don't know that I've ever seen them painted. Could do that too i guess. All a matter of personal choice. Take your time and get them straight and evenly spaced. Makes a difference. But biggest thing is don't overtighten them. Just barely snug.

I have had a few guys send the Breeze kit with their cars but unless Mark has changed what he uses the 5/8” bolts included aren’t long enough to engage the nylock by the time you add a washer top and bottom. Use 3/4” instead.

Why walk into a hardware store and get what you want now, when you can order it on line and wait for it to show up?

Because it's a 20-mile drive to the hardware store, Amazon will deliver it tomorrow with free shipping, and I don't have to drive in the snow or wear a mask and hope they have the exact sizes I need without going to three different stores.
