Apparently I am slowly dismantling my car.... while in the process of aligning the front end and hood the way it should of been done when the previous owner built it I was thinking of pulling my dash out right now while I have the body loose and can lift it up to get at all the screws. The reason being is that I need to reupholster the dash, clean up the switches and get rid of the gauges that came with the car. Is it just me or are the FFR gauges that come with the kit look cheap? The ones on my car have the plastic lenses all scratched and the face is either fading or is a dark grey, I don't like them...is the a decent gauge kit out there that have glass lenses and that are better quality than Speedhut that anyone has used? I want it to look original but my car is far from period correct.

I rebuilt my dash in a completed car back in 2012 with Autometer Cobra gauges which I quite like. Took some time but wasn't really that tough. Scott
