This is a 2 1/2 mile road coarse, being built as I type. It is only 5 miles from my house. I can't frickin beleive it. It is desinged around 3 different tracks.
lots of elavation changes, threw the wooded country, and guess what, the famous cork screw. I should take a pic to show you guys, it's going to be so cool. Also it will have a first class drag strip, and I heard a motor cross track.
I hope to have hot lap vids someday. The track will probably be done before my car, but I have others to go around and learn the track.
jealous?

I'm sorry, but I found the video annoying.
The picture from the air of the facility was much more informative to me.

Sorry, I don't think you had posted the new video link yet when I wrote this. That video from the plane is great.

no problem, to me the simulation does it no justice, from the air is amazing. I seriously thinking of sneeking out there and walking the track. As of now you can plianly see the course, they have the final bed of rock done and will start paveing in a matter of weeks.
The drag strip is going to be all concrete.

I think I have heard about this track for the last few years as one of the drivers of the FFR PDG GTM is a resident of WA and I actually paired with him two years ago in the 6 hour enduro at SIR. He had told us that his "buddy" was building a new track, but I kind of blew it off as actually getting asphalt down seems to be a rather difficult thing to do these days.
We have heard many plans of racetracks going in down here in SoCal, but they never seem to pan out, and seeing as the enviro nazis are just as bad, if not worse, in WA, I figured it was just talk. Happy to say that it looks like I was wrong. We will probably make a point of getting up to that track if they have any sort of endurance race there. :)

LOL, They had to build the whole upper left hand side to house some kind of ground hog or something, it was almost a stopping point, somehow they got it approved. The little guys get to stay.
Man if you do come up, and I'm sure you will. Lets hook up, it would be an honor to hang with you and your team.
