Hi all,
For small areas. Looks like a neat thing to spray gel coat and primers on parting line areas.
Any one have experience with it?

I have used it to spray small items, works as good as a spray can. I dont know if it could spray gel coat.

Looks like it simply allows you to load product to create a spray can which means that you have no control over pressure, flow or spray pattern.

You want to paint your car with an aerosol can of paint? :( A paint roller would be better

IMHO it's pretty lame, at least for the one use I tried- spraying PVA on a mold.

No, I don't want to PAINT my car. I just want to spray some of Merton"s red gel coat over the parting lines area.

I’ve only used a preval for small unseen areas like door and trunk jambs in the past but it worked pretty well for that. If you’re going to use it for finish gel coat (like you want to drive the car in gel coat for a while), you can theoretically lay a few coats down thick then wet sand them down. I think the bigger problem would be color matching the FFR gel coat. Would be really hard to get the same red color
