I was at a local car show Sunday, and was talking to the proud owner of a very nice roadster, when someone walked up and asked (instead of "is it real") "Is this a Factory Five". I was then at another Replica, a Shell Valley Car, and the owner was discussing Factory Five with two other guys and praising them.(Factory Five).

Way to go Dave and the Factory Five community !!

I'm hearing more of same nowadays too, especially around car guys. Factory Five is making great strides in name recognition these days it seems...

FFR brought accountability and legitimacy to the "kit car" industry.

About half the people who ask about my car have knowledge of FFR.

When people ask about my project they usually ask what manufacturer. When I say Factory Five, most of them say something about the quality of the chassis first. That's when I go into my elevator speech about: it's stiffer, has better geometry than the original, etc. WEK.

I've got a buddy with a Superformance that loves my car. I had quite a few people come up to me at our weekly cruise in and say they have heard F5 is the top kit maker. I embellish that with you can call on Monday for a part and have it by Wednesday, ask a technical question on a Friday night at 7:30 and you will have an answer by 8:30. Incredible product and I'm proud to own one.

I bought my car during the Curt Scott FFR bashing period in 2001. At that time, FFR was considered a rogue cobra replica manufacturer. After visiting the factory and building my car, I never looked back. Unparalleled support and commitment. I get more compliments now than I've ever had some 80,000+ miles later. FFR has built a solid reputation in a dog eat dog industry which reflects the incredible stay power and "get er done" attitude of these folks. They listen, they respond. Lovin' it.

The quality of the builds these days is what is doing it. The build quality has been amped up 10x since back in the day.
