View Full Version : Just when you think you've seen everything
Either the seller doesn't realize that he's not in possession of the "real deal", or he has no intention of selling the car on eBay.

Have you ever seen some items on Amazon going for crazy prices. I've looked up old books and seen a variety of different prices. Some will be $5 or $10 and the same book can also have a price of $350 for the same exact book. I wonder why they take the time to post items and try to sell them but maybe there might be someone who looks at the price and says 'gosh' must be an original or in the books for sale case, 'gosh' must be a first edition and signed and they buy it. I don't know??
And why do these warranty companies keep calling. There must be someone, just someone that really does buy a warranty from them. I occasionally play their game and lead them on, either acting real old, which is easy for me or just playing them on in one way or another.

Wait, you are saying it isn't the "real deal?"
Another example of the "maybe someone will buy it" mentality:

That's not their real number. They just want you to call so they can sell you on the car. Then you'll talk price.

Hmmmmm..... parking brake lever is up, but he has a paver brick behind the rear wheel. Would make me look much closer at the rest of the mechanicals.
