COYOTE how to tell between MUSTANG and F150??? HELP

Supposed to pick this up today, seller said it was a mustang CRATE engine, never used. Was told it was an f150 motor from my brother because of the exhaust...

Can anyone tell me HOW to tell the difference?? I do not want to make a costly mistake142115142116142117

looks like a F150 to me too. See the boss just to the right of the water pump pulley? on the Mustang, an idler pulley bolts there. Also the truck intake is black, mustang is silver. If its a gen 2 which it looks like it is, I think the firing order is different too. The oil cooler is a dead giveaway too.

Two differences I can see, the exhaust manifolds look to be those for a truck as they are not from a Mustang. The oil cooler adapter is different from the Mustang as the oil filter faces forward, not down as in a Mustang. I suggest you get the part number off the engine and check with a Ford dealer before handing over the cash and taking it home.
