View Full Version : Am I the only one that has to log in twice every time? Anyone else?

I must be doing something wrong. Does not matter which computer I use I get the same error when logging on the first time. No issue when I try a second time.

Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.thefactoryfiveforum.com/?)

Thoughts?

Thanks

Luis

Me two, but not all the time, helps if you click on the remember me box.

Happens all the time. Thought I was the only one. How does "remember me?" work?

I don't know how it works but it does help me get on first shot.

I get the invalid redirect URL too. Every time I log in too, doesn't seem to matter which browser or device. But, I don't have to log in twice. When you get the invalid redirect URL page, click on one of the tabs on the top left...it takes you to whichever section you're looking for and then you're logged in on the next page too.

Dave

Forgot about this thread. I am still having the same issue and have been beaten down to accepting the double log in everytime.

I am using the latest version of Internet explorer 9 and Windows 7 Professional.

No difference if I check remember me or not.

I know you said forget it, but you should be able to fix this. Like 1fastsedan said, there's something going on with this site that gives the invalid redirect URL message, but if you click one of the tabs, you're logged in. And it should remember you if you click the remember me box. If that's not working, you have security settings in your browser that are not allowing cookies to be saved. I access this forum on three different PC's and an iPad, all with different OS's and browsers. All save my logon info OK.

I never log in. I clicked remember me when I signed up, never done it since.

The same is happening with me with Dual Log-Ins.

I'm also seeing some strange things when I try to send PM's. Formatting gets whacked. I can't see the cursor, and I lose formatting when I try to use the return/Enter button to go to the next line.

No highjack: I think these issues may be related. I've had occasional double log in issues but my really frustrating problem is when I am logged in and a post I've made does not post. I can tell immediately when the Post button icon sits and spins. Next when I try to go to Home, I get a message asking do I want to leave this page. Other issues like appearing to be logged in on one page and find that you are not logged in on the next page. Are those issues caused by personal setting or is there a site problem? Are they related to this "double log in question"? Thanks, WEK.
