After a lot of research, I decided to give Mike a call and ordered the rear end with the 11.65 rear disc kit.
Speaking with Mike was a really good experience. Not only did he listen to all my questions and patiently answered them but we had a long talk about my military service and his families.
Based on my research his prices are very competitive but after the transaction I feel like he will back up his products AND, if I have any questions or issues he'll help me out.
Just my .02 cents but he's the real deal and I enjoyed the transaction.:D:D:D

I still remember the first time talking to him. It was like talking to a friend you've known your whole life really good guy and I ordered two engines from him.

Hey Capt!
I'm also a military guy (USAF/OTS after College), and I can't agree more. I called Mike on a 4th of July Saturday, to leave a message, (my throttle body freaked out and dumped 5 gallons of gasoline on my garage.) I thought I was calling his shop just to leave a message to order a new one. But Mike actually picked up and would not let me off the phone until I was fully briefed on clean up, safety, engine stuff, and more. He even called back a couple hours later to check up on us.
And most recently, my wife fell in love with a '42 Chevy "Christmas Tree" truck last month. Before we even purchased the thing we knew we'd want a new drive train. The first thing Joanie asked me was if Mike was going to figure all that out for us, and what would it cost. I told her yes he is, and he hasn't told me yet. That was all she needed to know.

Could not agree more.
I started my conversations with Mike last September, before ordering my MK4 kit, and he helped guide me down the right path.
Next week I'll be getting my motor, rear end, and other accessories delivered. Whoo Hooo!
Next, I'm joining a support group to keep me from calling him...seems like it costs me another $500 every time we talk
Thanks Mike!
