As we drive these things more and more several of the components are inevitably going to fail. The spot weld on the Gas Pedal Assembly was my first real issue. The other night I was driving around minding my own business when all of a sudden there was a ka-chunk sound on the passenger door. The damned window fell down into the door. I pulled over and fished it back and stuffed some paper into it to hold it wedged tightly to get me home. Pulled the side panel and discovered the glass holder had separated from the track mount flange. Pulled it out and spot welded it back. All in all a simple process but somewhat of a surprise. Anyhow, if it happens to you just fix it. Whole effort takes less time than to explain it.
