Six (6) years ago today Redone arrived on my doorstep as a pile of parts.

Like every new build, it was the beginning of an amazing journey.

Since I was a little kid I wanted one of these cars. I was 13 in 1965 when I had a Cobra slot car. When I was 17 I got a ride in a real 1965 Cobra. The guy scared the crap out of me, but I loved every second. The anticipation to get this car last August was off the chart. I didn't sleep at all the night before. My buddy and I left the house at 3:00 in the morning and drove the 550 miles to FFR. It was like we landed in OZ. (except no munchkins) We loaded the car on the trailer and the parts in my pickup and went to Walmart across the srteet from FFR (my alergies were kicking my butt). Before we got off the lot five people had stopped to talk about the car. Every time I get gas its an event. Now I have my tags and its crappy cold outside but I'll still drive it every chance I get till spring when I get the paint on it. So in dog years its still a puppy not quite 5 yet.
