Penta-Star™ XP Module and had a couple of quick questions:

1) How do you get the Hazard Lights to work with a Toggle or Rocker Switch (push button I believe you hold both momentary buttons down)?
2) What rear lights do you recommend because the kit comes with United Pacific Cobra LED Tail ight?
----I think I need a two bulb tail light to get everything to work properly
3) What momentary switches do you recommend?

Have an amazing day!
Thanks,
Matt

PADAWAN, The Hazard lights need a single pole double throw (If im correct, just got home from work) to work with a toggle or rocker switch. I used a push button switch from https://billetautomotivebuttons.com. I wired the pink wire to a relay and the switch uses a ground to activate the relay to turn on the hazards. I also used two diodes so the turn signal power doesn't bleed into the turn signal wiring.

as for the rear lights, I used the square ones that come with the kit.

I am using an on-off-on momentary toggle switch for my turn signals and a push button momentary switch for my hazards.
I split the left and right input wires running to the SC module and wired them up to my toggle and push button. The push button hazard switch is a DPDT (couldn't find a SPDT that I liked) but needed to split the pink hazard power wire to each side of the switch. The pink hazard power is always on, so I can activate the hazards without the key. The headlight power (dark green? can't remember) is only on with the key on. You need to make sure it's a double throw switch because otherwise, the signal will feed back to through your hazard any time you activate your turn signals.
I have the older round dual tail lights, so can't really comment on that.

Setup:
I like this setup, are you using any relays your setup? I’ve seen the Pentastar used with Relays

Thanks,
Matt

no additional relays used
I have the hazard button under my dash attached through one of my dash support panels and my turn toggle just left of my wheel to recreate the natural position of the stalk on my daily driver.

and FWIW, i used the "backoff" module, not the pentastar

Via Signal Dynamics
The instructions are for a motorcycle setup... so if you want to be able to use Hazards when the car is on the side of the road..

Orange wire should be either powered by ignition power or accessory power from your fuse box (once orange wire has power running lights are turned on) — I’ll probably be using an accessory power source in the fuse box so I can power the hazards without the car needing to be in the run position

No relays are required

If you want a separate Hazard switch with you need to use diodes on each new wire split off the left and right turn signal turn when wiring them into one switch

Hope this helps someone out

Thanks for all the feedback

Have an amazing day!!

I used and SDC self-canceling setup on my car and it's covered in this thread if it helps:
