Headlight Trim Rings

Hi, I'm having trouble getting the headlight trim rings to be secure. The instructions only show one retaining screw at the bottom. The top is loose and moves back and forth. The ring is positioned behind the plastic tab on the bucket. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you, -Tim

Did you use the spring clip that clips on to the boss at the bottom of the bucket? Trim ring goes over the bucket at the top and snaps into place at the bottom. Then secure at the bottom with the countersunk screw.

I had the spring clip in backwards and flipped it around. It's better but still can move a bit. Thank you

I’ve seen 2 cars with the loose headlight rings. Mine is a lot tighter but mine is also powder coated so it has a little more to bite on.
