I'm using the CNC brake reservoirs in my build, and need to source a new cap for pressure bleed purposes. Unfortunately, CNC is now out of business. Anyone have any ideas what else I can use to substitute or build a pressure bleed cap? ID seems to be about 40mm.
Thanks,

Call before you order. A LOT of smaller places don't keep their sites up to date. I found that out when I got one of the world last triple reservoirs.
They are definitely worth the effort to track one down.

I saw a post where someone made a pressure cap out of a rubber stopper. Drilled a hole in the center for the Schrader valve. Only needs to hold 6/8/10 PSI, and not for very long. Seems like that could work.
Mike Forte sells them, I also have one your welcome to use.

Since I use my pressure bleeder on a variety of reservoirs, I made my own adapter out of a block of aluminum. You could do the same with a piece of 3/16" to 1/4" plate aluminum. Use a piece of sheet rubber and glue it to the bottom side and drill and tap a hole for a fitting. C-clamp holds it in place on the top of the reservoir. I'll try and snap a picture of the piece I made over the weekend.

Lots of good solutions but will add mine. I bought a rubber stool foot that fit over the reservoir threads on my Scotts hotrods triple. Drilled a hole and threaded a 1/4" tube barb with some silicone to seal it up. Worm drive clamp to hold it in place. Worked like a charm and was around $2 solution.

I prefer the condom and zip-tie method myself.

I got my bleeder cap from AGM Products.

This is a direct fit for a CNC and Jamar. I personally tested on both.
Thanks to Avalanche325, I bought what I believe was the last remaining triple CNC reservoir on Earth. Lol
Edit: I see CDXXVII linked the exact same cap.
Also, looking at the other links and solutions in this thread, I paid about 3 times what I could have. But that’s par for the Mk1 rebuild course!
