I'm getting really close to my first drive and kicked around few ideas to secure the fuel filler but wondering what other people are doing?

Drill a couple of holes in trunk sidewall aluminum located high enough that they'll eventually be covered by the bulb seal then secure it using a sturdy zip tie or 2.

I used a different filter and found a cool bracket to mount it:

I used a nylon strap connecting it to my trunk hinge arm in the PS. stuffed some folded shop towels between the filler neck and the trunk side wall to keep it from bending too much at the top.

I can share a picture of what I did for the "filler" during go-kart as well. I just used a bungee cord:

Using a donor tank, I could use the OEM Ford filler tube support, which has always worked fine. I wonder if there is a way that could be adapted to use with the aftermarket tank?

The top of the filler is secure enough when attached to the LeMans cap. It's lower down I'd be thinking it could use support.
