Spent the weekend cutting and building out the carbon fiber dash from FFR. Wow, that was stressful getting everything cut out and not scratching or messing up the holes and glove box. Glad that is over. Had no clue how itchy CF dust is. I wore a mask and gloves but that stuff gets on you no matter what.

So a couple of questions for the brain trust. When I mock it up on the hoop and try to have it stay just below the hoop it is really sitting heavily on the lateral edges on the dash where it contacts the frame. Have any of you guys with the CF dash end up trimming the lateral inferior aspects where the contact is made and if it just above the hoop is that going to be a big deal when I install the body? OR do I need to trim the top to keep is just be low the hoop?
Thanks in advance and a picture for your time.

I don’t know the answers to your questions but I posted recently asking for any pictures.
