R model and AC

Good evening everyone,
So I took delivery of my coupe 6 days ago and have been busy. My son is wanting to add the windshield intrusion bars like the R model which would be an easy add but my main concern is the ability to fit the AC and all the other stuff behind the dash.. No build thread yet as I am slowly adding videos to YouTube for the build documentation. Thank you

I'm not 100% familiar with what bars or whatever are added with the R model. The pictures on Factory Five's website give an idea. But not very detailed. On the "R" model it's a pain. It doesn't fit per the instructions because there is interference on a cross-member they added to the chassis. I fabricated a bracket to mount it canted to one side and then 3D printed a new vent cover for the A/C unit so that the outlets did not interfere with a cross-member that's in the way. Here are some photos of how I did it, following the lead of others who did something similar.

I decided against the windshield bars so no issues. I love the color of your chassis!!
