If I am on my home WiFi I can’t get the forum to load the last couple weeks. Haven’t changed anything. Either using my MacBook (safari or Firefox) with same results or iPad.
If I get on the iPad and turn WiFi off and just let it use LTE data it loads the forum no problem.

No idea why this would happen. Can someone give me any suggestions on what to look at?

Scott,

If you're switching between the full and mobile site, it will cause loading problems. I've seen the same thing. You usually just have to click the link for full site again to get it to load properly.

If this was a windows computer, I'd say try re-booting. But it isn't... Have your tried recycling (i.e. re-booting) your router? Might be worth a try.

Didn’t try my iPad until yesterday to figure out it would work on data. Other than that getting on from my computer just like I always have in the past. Not sure why it is a problem now.

Check with Dave Hodgkins to see if your IP is being blocked in his filters. If you get a dynamic IP from your provider, try releasing it and getting a new one.

Scott

Can you get to other sites when using wifi ?

Are you using fixed or dhcp IP addressing when using wifi?

You might want to clear the DNS cache on your client and router.
Also, while connected to wifi, run an ipconfig /all to verify DNS settings received from your router.
Also, you can as a test, configure your computer with a static IP and Gateway and use 8.8.8.8 for DNS server.

I reset my DHCP lease or something to that effect. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks everyone for the feedback. This was the only website I was having an issue with.

Glad to hear that worked, Scott. I suspect that the IP you were previously assigned may have been flagged as a "spammer's" IP. When it was assigned to you, the Forum blocked it. Getting a new IP was an easy fix. I use Comcast (Xfinity), and my IP is good for about a week at a time with a new one assigned (sometimes the same one repeatedly) as each "lease" expires.
