What options do I have for center-mirrors that preferably doesn't require drilling. I know about Dark Water Custom's and **********, but are there other choices?
So, why is poor old Alex putting on a mirror after 4yrs of not having one. Awesome story time!
Open highway. I'm doing the speed limit (50mph). One or two cars behind me so I downshift into 3rd and give it a bit of gas. Get up to 120, then let it coast back down to 50 and continue on my way (so that takes what, all of 3 or 4seconds to do). Anyways, I failed to see the police car behind me. And apparently he chased me over a mile, like 2'' from my bumper, lights and sirens blaring, before I stopped (and the only reason I realized he was there was because I had clutched in to downshift to take an off-ramp, and when clutched in I heard the siren behind me).
Needless to say he wasn't too happy :O - i got a 10minute lecture about how he should impound the vehicle, arrest me for evading a police officer, no mirrors, etc.. etc..., then he made me promise to put on a mirror, said "cool car" and he left.
I figure w/ my luck he's made a note against my license plate and will be keeping an eye out for me to see if I followed my promise, so finally i have to capitulate and put ~1~ unobtrusive mirror on :(
