I am trying to order15" Rims and tires for my MK1. I talked to Jen at ET WHEELS, They sell pick your size and offset Halibrand style wheels. I am not sure what fits the old MK1I did just pick up the Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires 26x10-15 for the front and 28x12-15 for the rear. I need to find the correct offset or backspace to fit the tire. Any help is appreciated.

That 28x12 will be a huge problem in the rear. I hope that is a typo and they are 26x12s. These are FFR's specs
Front Wheel Size (Diameter x width): 15"x 8"
Rear Wheel Size (Diameter x width): 15"x 9"
Front Wheel Backspace: 5"
Rear Wheel Backspace: 5.48"
But their rear is only 9 inches. I would go w/ a 10 inch and add .5in to their BS.

Hey Craig,
Not not a typo. :( I will work it out or get the smaller
tires.
When you say add a .5 " is that for backspacing and rim width?

I actually have a pr of Team III 15x12 wheels nib that I fitted on the back mark 1.5 with the big tire mod I would be willing to sell.

I was thinking add 1" to their 9" for a 10" width and then add .5" to the BS so the extra width is added equally to both inner and outer rims.
