Some months ago the 12 hour body prep of a Challenge Car was shown in 2 parts. It was mentioned that a NAPA spray on gelcoat? was used to spray over where the parting lines where sanded down. Is there a colour number for that?

We use a CCP Polycore Red gelcoat on our bodies. It may be difficult to get locally. You will probably have to get it from a fiber glass and composites company. The red color also varies alittle from each batch. To use the gelcoat the way we did was a little tricky. We had the guy who makes all the molds do it. He has more experience working with fiber glass than most body guys. There were special wax agents he had to add to the gelcoat. To replicate the work he did in your garage may be difficult.
