I posted a similar thread on the 818 forum, but I wanted to copy it over here since the roadster is a pretty different platform. I'm an 818 builder, currently still working on finishing up my 818 coupe. I've now co-founded a business in Atlanta working on EV conversion systems. Think along the lines of a crate engine system where besides mounting it's relatively universal. For that reason, I'm curious to get the opinions of people who have already bought crate engine systems and may or may not currently be interested in EVs. The 818 crowd doesn't really do crate engines because they don't exist in the same way for flat-4 engines as small block V8s. There's two surveys below, the first for someone at any experience level with EVs and the second is geared more towards people that have done or seriously looked into EV conversions. Both are very short and ask similar questions, but the general one does not get as detailed with its version of the questions. Curious to hear what opinions people have!
