Coupe delivered and aluminum disassembly

Hello everyone,
The coupe was delivered yesterday and I have already done inventory and taken the body off.
I have most of the aluminum off except for the flat piece behind the seats. I am not sure how it comes out.
The two down bars in the middle and the out bars have it wedged in. It's the piece about 12" x width of cage

Congratulations!!! That piece just bends up in the middle to get past the roll bars. Seems tight but comes out fairly easily.

there is a picture in the manual showing how to bend it, take your time and be careful not to scratch the powder coating.

Yes to all the above. Goes in/out once you figure it out and bend just right. The hatch floor piece is the same way. Has to be bent just right to go in/out more easily. Congrats on your kit arrival! Obviously Stewart made it all the way to your place. ;)

Thank you for the help everyone. Paul, it did finally arrive and Scott had nothing but good things to say about you.
We let him stay in his truck in front of our house as he was timed out from driving. He enjoyed the coastal air and a walk in the harbor. As for the lack of photos I must admit I hate typing and being on the computer but I enjoy doing videos.
So I will be setting up a YouTube channel and posting the entire build process on YouTube.
As soon as the first video Is uploaded and the channel active I will send a link.

I realized I uploaded the wrong video late today. The new one with the welding is up now and I will upload the painting one tomorrow. Between work, coupe and YouTube I am getting tired.
I am not sure of the number but will check tomorrow. I would love to see your car sometime, I didn't know one was so close.

Loved 'The TIG'- you had me for a while- great welding!

I wanted the race chassis, but not ALL of the bars- the ones you added are what I wanted.

It was a fun video to make. Nothing like the Stig err Tig I mean.
Hopefully I don't regret the x in the rear. It's going to make a dropped storage area interesting.
7,000 miles! Nice. I am hoping to see it sometime, if you ever want to drive over to the coast let me know.

Hi, I see your diff has a sensor on it, what's that for? Also I see you have modified the breather pipe, I take it your going to use some sort of AN fitting on that?

Good evening Phil,
The sensor is for temperature as I plan on tracking the coupe and those super 8.8 diffs have been known to get hot in the mustang. I am installing a -6 an fitting on the breather as its a much cleaner look. I wasn't sure about white, but now that's it's sprayed I really like it and getting lots of compliments. Thanks for watching the videos. Hope the videos help somebody in the build.
