I'm wondering if I've riveted the brake line bracket in the wrong spot. The engine side cover hits the brake line and won't allow the cover sit back far enough:

I'm not sure I can bend the bracket to clear the side cover without it hitting the upper control arm. What am I missing?

Is your's a Gen 1 or Gen 2 (not sure if the frame is different between the two). On my Gen2 I have it riveted to the frame right below the upper control arm. I had to bend mine up slightly but not much.

Yours and mine are in the same general vicinity though. Jim

I have found after building 3-33's that is best to locate the brake line with the side cover in place. I have had to relocate them as I had issues like you in the past.

Had similar issues both front and rear. To rectify on the front I bought 90 degree fittings and longer hose

Mines one of the last Gen 1's. The chassis has the 'dips' in the door entrance for easier access, but the body does not.

Cheers for the replies. I may follow Steve's lead and get some 90 deg adapters.

A little frustrating when I've already had to purchase new brake lines as the supplied ones do not comply with Aussie regs (not marked as complying with any standard and no cover over the braid).
