Which are the proper Hella h4 lamps for a coupe? Model number would be awesome if someone knows it. Amazon has several different sizes. I might go LED headlights but I like that yellow halogen color light for a vintage look.

Does the Watson streetworks LED set comparable with the coupe?

Take a look at their 7" conversion kit http://www.myhellalights.com/index.php/products/auxiliary-lamps/sealed-beam-conversion-headlamps/vision-plus-7in-conversion-headlamp/. Allows use of halogen or with a number of the LED lamps that have now flooded the market. I believe that is what Edwardb did for his https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?26630-Edwardb%92s-Gen-3-Type-65-Coyote-Coupe-59-Build-Complete-and-Graduated&p=311486&viewfull=1#post311486

I've been running them on my Jeep for about the past 10 years and what I really like is they are glass lenses. Some of the LED replacements out there have plastic or polycarbonate lenses. The pattern they cast on low is very broad left to right and perfect for highlighting all the places critters like to hang out in before they jump out in front of you. Hit the high beams and they reach out forever. I've only had halogens (IPF Fat boys) in mine, but have considered swapping to LEDs for a brighter bulb/whiter light. The other nice thing is when aimed properly they light up the road, not the mirrors of the driver's in front of you (bit of a pet peeve of mine, not sure Californians understand what brights are actually for:cool:).

Cheers,
Patrick

Susquehanna Motorsports. I've bought from them multiple times. Great service and products.

Then just select H4 bulbs to suit your needs. The link is for a DOT lamp but I usually use "E" Code, it's a different beam pattern. Plus rating normal wattage bulbs. Been very pleased.

If you're looking at Amazon I believe this is the one you want https://www.amazon.com/HELLA-002395301-Halogen-Conversion-Headlamp/dp/B0002M9QK6/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=002395301&qid=1610297456&sr=8-1&th=1

The 165mm kit option listed is for the non-DOT model so you would need to order two of the 165mm single DOTs if that is something that matters to you. You may want to check with Edwardb and see if he has the part # for the ones he used.

There are two round headlamps 5-3/4" in a dual lamp configuration and 7" as a single lamp. 165mm are rectangular, there were both single (larger) and dual (smaller) versions.

The Roadster and Coupe both use 7" round. Breeze has a set w/ LEDs that seems to get good reviews.
