Curious what people are using to pressure bleed the system and specifically for the cap on the reservoir.

As always thanks

I use a Motive bleeder that works very well. I ordered it with a cap To fit my 1991 stock MC.

Do you know what cap they're using for the FFR reservoi caps?

If you can get ahold of a second cap for your reservoir, you can add a shrader valve to it and use that for bleeding.

I drilled a hole through a rubber stopper i bought at a local hardware store, then cut the stem out of a bicycle innertube and pushed it through the hole. Hooked up to a bike pump and i was able to quickly bleed all 4 corners.

This Motive SKU includes the cap that screws right on the FF reservoir. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002KM5L0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

brilliant!
you don't need much pressure (5-10psi) so this option would work just fine.

Brad, I have noticed that FFR has changed their reservoirs over the years will this work with the most current one? Thanks!

Mine was delivered 1/4/20 so I assume it’s the latest reservoir. I can measure tomorrow and let you know.

I found a piece of radiator hose that fit the reservoir and went to the hardware store for pieces to get from that size to something I could connect to my pressure regulator. I already had a pump and regulator. If you need a pump go to Walmart or a pet store and buy their least expensive fish tank air pump.

I was really struggling to get the brakes bled on my 35 truck. I ended up buying a Motive bleeder but used it dry to force the air from the system, it worked great.

I thinks this is a bad idea. That pump will produce high pressure, you should not use over 10-12 psi to power bleed brakes

i used this manual pressure bleeder, bleed from the wheel to the mater cylinder through the ABS system. Worked very well.

It has a pressure gauge. You just hit the trigger for a second or two and release.

You can also use a hand-held bicycle pump. You don't need more than 5 psi.

I use ~11 PSI atmospheric pressure (at 7000' ASL that's about the most pressure I get) to bleed brakes by myself. I have a Mityvac https://www.amazon.com/Mityvac-MV8020-Vacuum-Bottle-Bleeder/dp/B005O2LQLQ/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=mityvac+vacuum+pump&qid=1610337430&sr=8-4 that draws a vacuum on the system and Mother Nature does the rest. That way I can easily monitor the fluid and top off as the fluid is being vacuumed out of the caliper.

I have never had any problem bleeding brakes or juice clutch release systems regardless of the methods I've used but the vacuum method is the easiest I've found. Pressure bleeding works great but it's cumbersome to stop, bleed pressure off, and remove the pressure fitting every time you need to check the fluid level. Some reservoirs are very small and must be refiled frequently. And with the vacuum method you don't need special fittings for different reservoirs.
