Is windshield glued in?

Sounds like a dumb question I know since there are no gaskets or rubber but the guy wanted me to ask..

And does anyone put any mounding or trim over it?

No, just remove the 4 screws remove the top frame and slide the windshield out. There is a gasket on the glass however. I polished mine. Hope this answered your question. Ray

Yes, it’s glued in. It sits recessed a bit in the HT kinda like the new cars.

Make sure you test fit it before primer. My windshield is slightly wider than the opening so the A pillar needed to be sanded down and then rebuild as the fiberglass was too thin.
