Touchy subject I know...... I do know I've seen some folks running them though.
While SoDak doesn't necessarily require bumper on this kit car (I checked) our drivers are, well, lets just say ....... terrible. Too many young people getting their licenses at 14 (old agricultural law) and too many people looking down at their damn phones. I'm exaggerating a bit, but I think we lead the nation in rear end accidents from inattentive driving.
I was looking at the 32 Ford straight bumper from Speedway motors (link below), I think it would look alright on the back of the car....my only thought was how did guys who installed their bumpers do it?
My first thought was to use the panhard bar bracket since I'm not running one, and run a 1" steel tube from that bracket across to the other side of the shock mount (where the panhard bar would tie into) and then fabricate some brackets to attach to that, but I'm not sure.
I tried the search feature and didn't see anything specific. Anyone know how folks who have rear bumpers are attaching their rear bumpers?
No sense putting on a rear bumper if it is not going to do what it is intended to.

If i could find a decent looking front bumper I may do the same but there too, not sure off hand how to mount it.
Thanks in advance.
