Well the delivery day is almost here. The kit completed on 12/26/2020 and there are hopefully on two weekends left until delivery. I am finalizing the shop layout (3rd bay of a three car garage). The bays are deep and maybe about two feet wider than normal. I am thinking about turning the chassis 90 degrees to the door opening.
Can someone provide me with the chassis Maximum length and width with the body removed?
Thanks and happy new year.

I do not have the dimensions you are looking for but I thought I would post this photo to give an idea as to building in a single space. Best thing I did was hang the body out of the way. I think the bottom of the buck was just over 6'-2" off the ground. I do not think I could have comfortable built the roaster in a single bay. The best thing I did was build a rolling chassis cart which allowed me to position the chassis properly for each task during the build. I promised my wife that she could park in the garage during the build and for me most part I kept my promise. Engine install and body install are best accomplished with more space.
Remember that you still need space for tools and work surfaces. I kept many of the components I was not going to need right away in an upstairs spare bedroom. It's amazing how fast you run out of room if you do not stay organized.

The chassis is bigger than you think when you actually have to work on it. Just sitting there it may be fine crossways in a single bay but probably not practical.

143" But measured my Challenge Car chassis and guessed where the roadster chassis ends. My measurements might be short by an inch.

With wheels the rolling chassis footprint is approximately 6' by 12'

CDXXVII, Jim and Jeff. Thanks for your inputs. They all helped in the final layout.
