You know the edge trim around the perimeter of the windshield frame, I'm wondering if anyone know where to get that.
I'd like to replace that trim and also use it on the rough edge of the door when the interior panel is set in.
Here is the trim I am referring to.

FFR really dropped the ball on the fit of the A Pillar, hood, and front fenders. Because of that I'm reworking windshield frame.
The photo below shows extending the windshield frame.

Thanks to Bow2091 for an even better solution. A much simpler and cleaner look.
With the windshield trim removed, use a die grinder with a pointed tip to remove the gel coat inside of the seam/gap that was covered by the trim. Use some silica and fiberglass resin to make a filler the consistency of peanut butter. Fill the gap all the way around and sand to a nice finished edge.
Here is the picture Bow2091 sent to show the finished product.

Anyone have a lead on the FFR trim material?
I'm referring to the u-shaped plastic with a bead of sealant inside. I like it for exposed edges like the front of the winshield frame skirt and bumper top edge.

McMaster Carr supply carries it.

I'm not sure what you mean, but it sounds like door edge guard which is a U-shaped plastic with heat-activated glue inside. I used this stuff to finish the edges of the body air vents and other exposed edges. You'll want it in longer lengths than the door edge guard at Autozone or NAPA. Look for "door edge guard" on Amazon but don't buy the cheapest. I did that and the cheap stuff was crinkled and would not lay flat. It's all inexpensive, so get the better stuff.
