Guys,

I'm looking at the Bosch terminal connection in the Russ Thompson Turn Signal wiring diagram. The terminal designations in the diagram do not correspond with the with the terminal designations found in the relay section for the Bosch relay. For example, the relay in the RT Turn Signal shows the coil connected between terminals 87 and 85, while the coil connections in the relay section say the coil should be connected between terminals 86 and 85. Can anyone please provide the correct terminal designation for the Bosch relay in the RT turn Signal diagram?

Below are the RT TS diagram and the Bosch Terminal designations:

140094

140095

Thanks for your response,

The wiring diagram image you posted is correct.

I also recommend another diode on the hazard flasher +12 (pink wire). Not that the switches will be used in combo but you can backfeed the fuse block when you have hazard and turn signal switch on simultaneously.

You do notice that the wiring diagram shows the Bosch relay coil being connected between terminals 87 and 85 but the diagram on the physical relay shows the coil connected between terminals 86 and 85 which agrees with the Bosch terminal description. Look up the relay terminal connection diagram on the Bosch website. It's circuit diagram 4 and connection diagram 21. I'm just looking for someone to confirm this and to tell me what the correct terminal correction should.

For what it's worth I've wired two cars exactly like the top wiring diagram and have had no issues. I've never seen the list list you posted.

Easy, compact & mounts conveniently near the steering column. Yes, it’s a bit expensive but I figured after I purchased all the relay(s) and other stuff involved, it wasnt that much more. In addition, I used two molex connectors in making the connections so I can remove both the dash and the steering column separately from the car in need be.

My thanks to others on this site who recommended this device. Edwardb I think was one of those recommending.
