So the first "should I spend" question of the build arises. Stick with the FFR accelerator pedal (which I have to admit is a much higher quality item than I thought it would be based on the pictures I saw) or go with a Russ Thompson gas pedal unit.

For context, I plan on going with a Forte's accelerator linkage and a carbureted 427W engine; not yet purchased.

My question - does the Forte's linkage provide enough adjustment to properly position the FFR accelerator as is - or is the additional adjustment capabilities of the RT unit needed? I ask as somebody who will be tracking the car so decent heel-toe alignment would be nice.

One advantage to the RT pedal is that it attaches to the frame tube w/ a clamp.

So the pedal can be slid along that tube so position options are nearly endless. W/ heel-toe in mind, I would go with it for sure.
